Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for our state-of-the-art food processing machinery. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in industrial automation, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop, program, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automation of dal mill plants and food processing machinery. Design and implement control systems, including sensors, actuators, and motors, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate automation solutions into manufacturing processes. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of automated systems to ensure smooth operations. Analyze process inefficiencies and propose enhancements to increase productivity and reduce downtime. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-installation stages. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. Train operators and maintenance personnel on automated systems and software. Stay updated with emerging technologies in industrial automation and recommend adoption to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in industrial automation, preferably in food processing or similar industries. Proven experience in industrial automation, preferably in food processing or similar industries. Hands-on expertise with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI, and SCADA systems. Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and actuators. Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus). Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical and control schematics. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automation for food processing machinery. Familiarity with robotics and AI applications in manufacturing. Certification in automation tools and platforms.
