Job Description
- Data Management:
- Collect, organize, and maintain financial data.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement data security measures.
- Designing Reports:
- Collaborate with finance team to understand reporting needs.
- Develop customized financial reports.
- Utilise tools like Power BI, Alteryx, SAP BW or other reporting software.
- Execution of Reports:
- Run scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
- Automate report generation processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.
- Checking Output of System Extracts:
- Validate data extracted from financial systems.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure consistency and reliability of data outputs.
- Building Automation Artifacts:
- Develop automation workflows using tools like Power Automate and UiPath.
- Streamline repetitive tasks and processes.
- Maintain and update automation scripts as needed.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Coordinate and conduct UAT for new reports and automation workflows.
- Gather feedback from finance team and ensure requirements are met.
- Document and resolve any issues identified during testing.
- Dealing with Issues Raised by Finance Team:
- Address technical issues related to financial systems.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for report-related queries.
- Liaise with IT department for complex problem resolution.
- Key Skills Required:
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in data management, report design, and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with finance team and IT department.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data management and report generation.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
