Tata Elxsi is hiring for bright and passionate Wiring Harness Design Engineers with below competency.

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 3 to 8 years

Mode - Permanent

Role and Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Zuken E3, CR 8000, CR 5000 tools.
• Hands on experience of Zuken software for wiring harness design & logic creation.
• Experience in OEM Vehicle harness development
• Experience in circuit analysis & design calculations
• Understanding of OEM engine harness standards and nomenclature.
• Experience in Preparation of interface circuit schematics and wiring harness drawings.
• Knowledge in Electrical components selection and finalization for Wiring Harness.
• Understanding of Automotive EDS development process
• Understanding of Harness Weight and Cost optimization
• Knowledge of other vehicle aggregates for interface / Integration
• Understanding of VA-VE activities.
• Strong knowledge of design basics.
• Good communication skills.
• Good Understanding of UG Visualization mockup / Teamcenter
• Experience in VAVE, Harness Weight and Cost optimization.
• Good understanding of selection of Connectors and Terminals, fuses based on the requirement.
• Good understanding of design regulations and standards for Indian and international markets.
• Knowledge of Harness connectors, bundle diameter and wire cross section calculation.
• Understanding of Homologation and safety standards.
• Good understanding of key milestones in product development.

Preferred Skills

• Communication and Presentation Skills, Project Management
• Software Zuken E3, CR8000& CR5000, Team Centre and MS Office proficiency, Unigraphics Tool.
