Job Description
Title: Medical Coder
Job description: Duty and QualificationWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Coder to join our team. The Medical Coder will be responsible for annotating data for training machine learning models.
Responsibilities:
Review medical records and accurately code diagnoses and procedures
Ensure compliance with government regulations and insurance requirements
Keep up-to-date with the latest coding guidelines and changes in the healthcare industry
Work with the engineering team for injecting medical domain knowledge into our product.
Qualification
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical coding
Candidate should be a certified medical coder e.g. from the American Association Of Medical Coding Professionals
Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
Have a degree in either
Computational Linguistics
American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) certified medical coders
Biotechnology
Biochemistry
Botany
B.Pharm Good English literacy. Currently work from home but should be flexible to work from office when required.
Certification is non negotiable
