Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the rollout and operational readiness of our offices and experience centres across various locations. This is a mid-senior level role responsible for managing infrastructure execution through close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
The role involves overseeing procurement and facilities and serving as the central point of contact between the on-ground project teams and the head office. The ideal candidate has a solid background in project or operations management in IT, Ed-Tech, or commercial real estate environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Drive the end-to-end setup of new office/experience centre locations from site evaluation to launch readiness.
- Coordinate with infra team and get the designs and boqs done for the finalised site
- Coordinate with legal/lease teams to facilitate site onboarding and documentation.
Cross-functional Team Management
- Supervise and align activities of the Procurement Manager and Interior Design Operations Manager.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and vendors.
- Central point of contact between regional sites and head office teams.
Execution Monitoring
- Track daily site progress through updates from Site Engineers.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, design standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, address issues, and enforce compliance.
Post-Completion Oversight
- Ensure smooth handover and operational readiness of completed sites.
- Monitor the site during the 68 month post-completion period to address snags, vendor support, and facility issues.
- Coordinate closure of snag lists and final vendor clearances.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including vendor contracts, progress trackers, and handover reports.
- Prepare and share weekly progress dashboards and reports with the HoD.
- Monitor cost efficiencies and flag risks proactively.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
- MBA or certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Experience
- 68 years of experience in campus operations, project management, or infrastructure rollout in IT, Ed-Tech, or real estate sectors.
- Prior experience in multi-site coordination and vendor-driven execution is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Familiarity with procurement workflows, commercial interiors, and facilities readiness.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Strong integrity towards the organization
- Willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
