Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Python and Django frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to gather and analyze requirements.
- Implement RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend systems and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and responsiveness.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Implement database models and queries, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong expertise in Django frameworks.
- Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend technologies.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and deployment platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Having SQL Server hands-on development experience of 1 year will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of additional Python frameworks or libraries.
- Experience with asynchronous programming using libraries like Celery or asyncio.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
- Prior experience with microservices architecture.
