Job Description
Decisioning Architect
The Principal Decisioning Architect will be a key contributor to Allys current and next generation digital transformation efforts. The Principal Decisioning Architect will work on an Agile squad delivering key initiatives supporting customer Next Best Experience functionalities such as Next Best Actions (NBA), Next Best Interactions (NBI), and Next Best Conversations (NBC), across channels. The Principal Decisioning Architect will need to understand the value proposition of the technology, partner closely with Marketing Strategy, Business Intelligence, Data Scientists, teams across all Lines of Business, as well as Risk and Compliance to understand the Business requirements and translate them into world-class Decision Logic under the direct supervision of Lead Decisioning Architect.
The Work Itself
- Interface with key stakeholders to evangelize the platform and unlock profound new capabilities in our CX stack
- Create the decisioning components (decision logic/strategy logic) which integrates seamlessly with complex technical stacks.
- Design and configuring rules, flows, propositions, and decision logic. Communicate technical concepts, problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Perform thorough unit testing and some functional testing as needed demonstrated software design experience
- Contributes to the design of the application typically focused on specific automation or integration activities
- Participates in the compilation of the use case documentation as required
- Assists in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation Pega Client Support
The Skills You Bring
- 5 + years of experience with designing and/or implementing Marketing and Decisioning software (such as Cordiant, Infor CRM Epiphany, Smart Focus, Experian, Adobe, Oracle, Marketo, Salesforce, Teradata, Aprimo, IBM Unica) applications.
- 2 or more years of Pega Customer Decision Hub experience
- Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant, experienced on Pega Marketing and NBA Designer
- Strong knowledge on Adaptive and Predictive Models
- Knowledge of integration with an enterprise multi-tier application including advanced custom analytics data models, Customer Data Platform and real-time digital identity resolution and customer behavior data stream platforms.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree field of study: Computer Science or related field
- Minimum five (5) years PEGA implementation experience for Customer Engagement and Case Management is required
- "in lieu of" a bachelors degree, an Associate's with an additional two (2) years technical analysis and IT related experience may be considered.
- Minimum three (3) year experience PEGA version 8.x or greater is required
- Minimum one (1) year experience Agile Methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and Messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is required.
Following certification is required:
- PEGA Certified Decisioning Consultant
Preferred certifications include:
- PEGA Certified Lead Systems Architect (PCLSA)
- PEGA Certified Senior System Architect
- PEGA Certified System Architect
- PEGA Certified Marketing Consultant
- PEGA Certified Robotics System Architect
- PEGA Certified Data Scientist
Preferred Experience:
- Implementation Experience with Customer Decision Hub or PEGA Marketing solutions
- PEGA Robotic Process Automation experience
- Proficient in one or more project management tools.
- Experience with Java and Angular.
- Designing and implementing REST based API integration services
Overall technical analysis and IT experience of 9 plus years preferred.
