Salary: upto 50k

Job Location: Guwahati, Assam

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
Identify potential suppliers to secure cost-effective sources.
Establish and maintain good relationship with suppliers to negotiate for the best terms.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of on-time delivery, quality and cost.
Establish key performance measurements to evaluate the purchasing process.
Ensure material purchased is in accordance to specifications, including quality, delivery timeline and terms & conditions.
Support costing activities in the tender stage and follow through in the execution phase.
Coordinate with project personnel on project procurement activities.
Draft and review purchase contracts to ensure relevance to market trends.
Prepare monthly status reports for management review.
Requirements

Award contracts in accordance with purchasing best practices.
Coordinate local and overseas delivery.
Generate monthly purchasing report for management.
Initiate and lead cost saving initiatives.
Liaise with local and overseas suppliers.
Maintain and update the approved supplier list.
Source, evaluate and qualify suppliers.
Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Job Type: Regular / Permanent
Salary: Up to 50,000.00 per month
