We are committed to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the growing demands of urban and rural transportation systems. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Highway Draughtsman to join our team and contribute to the planning and design of high-quality highway projects. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and draft detailed road plans, including alignments, cross-sections, and profiles for highway projects using AutoCAD. Convert raw design data and conceptual sketches into accurate and precise drawings suitable for construction. Develop and refine road cross-sections and profiles to ensure they meet engineering specifications and project requirements. Present all drafted designs in a clear, professional, and presentable format for client presentations and project approvals. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients. Ensure that all drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with relevant standards and guidelines. Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and accuracy in drafting across all project documents. Provide technical support by assisting with the preparation of project documentation and design reports. Ensure timely completion of drafted documents and drawings in line with project timelines. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Highway Draughtsman, specifically in drafting road plans, cross-sections, and profiles. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant drafting software. Strong knowledge of highway design standards and drafting conventions. Ability to transform engineering concepts and data into clear, well-organized visual formats. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in drafting. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers. Good communication skills and a strong understanding of road construction terminology.
