- Job Roles : Network Administrator Job Description Responsibilities : We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner Implement and maintain security protocols to protect against threats and attacks Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network infrastructure Manage network backups and disaster recovery plans Strong technical skills in network infrastructure management and troubleshooting Experience with Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN Familiarity with network security and disaster recovery protocols Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat. Troubleshoot network issues related to LAN, Router, and Networking. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex network issues. Maintain documentation related to network configurations and changes. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed. Attention to detail and accuracy Maintain Customer database. Able to handle Level 2/ Level 3 support for network issues. Involved in all escalated cases and helping L1/L2 to resolve the same Maintain & update documentations. Monthly Quarterly governance meeting with customers Preparing RCA for escalated issue. Manage support cases to enable faster resolution. Ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practices. Ability to deliver against deadlines Ready to work on 24/7 basis Driving cases and delivery targets with OEM Must possess good customer handling skills. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Any certification or equivalent networking certification. 3+ years of experience in network administration or a related role. Strong knowledge of the OSI Model and its practical applications. Proficiency in DHCP, TCP/IP, TCP/UDP, routing, VLANs, IP addressing, and switching. Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba switches. Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls is a plus. Basic understanding of network security concepts. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. (ref:hirist.tech),
