AS400 Senior Developer @ MNC - Product Based

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced AS400 Backend Developer to join our team. As a skilled developer, you will design, build, test, and support AS400 applications, ensuring they meet our company's evolving demands.Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality AS400 applications
- Analyze and optimize existing software applications for improved performance
- Write scalable, efficient code and ensure rigorous testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming errors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in daily client calls to provide project updates and demonstrate expertiseRequirements- 3-7 years of experience in AS400 development, with a strong focus on backend development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in RPG, RPG-ILE, CL, SQL, and AS/400 environments
- Strong understanding of DB2 and relational database concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirementsNice to Have- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
