Job Description
As a Program Manager, you will envision and craft a business process-driven strategy and roadmap to enable accurate, standardized, sophisticated, widely adopted financial performance metrics and indicators, working with Global Accounting, Global Reporting and Compliance and Fintech Product and Engineering teams at Uber. You will partner with other FinTech, Strategic Finance and Accounting leaders to develop and oversee end to end process flow management for key financial processes and the product roadmap across FinTech systems. you'll be responsible for overall metrics, stakeholder management and business impact (KPIs/OKRs) of your programs. Your performance is measured by the impact of the business processes you help launch seamlessly and by your ability to influence and inspire a high-performing team that includes Product, Engineering, Accounting, Strategic Finance and Operations.
What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
This role is a unique opportunity mix of technology, consulting and program management. The role will require strong skills and experience in business process transformation and management; and needs close collaboration with Finance, Accounting and other partner teams to get a deep understanding of the business processes and system data flows.
- Develop and oversee end to end process flow management for key financial processes and product roadmap, including impact assessments and change management collaborating with various teams across Uber
- Own and maintain metrics dashboards and reporting cadences, ensuring key leaders always have the right information in front of them to foster data-driven decisions
- Lead adoption and organization management of the processes and associated products and data
- Educate users on the features and benefits of the platform, including documentation, training materials, periodic training
- Craft KPIs/OKRs around business processes, metrics- planning, tracking and reporting
- Work with various FinTech stakeholders to lead project execution (implementation projects, migration projects, financial close events etc)
- Prepare and disseminate project status reports and lead the status meetings independently
- Schedule, conduct, report and follow up on stakeholder meetings and project activities
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Minimum 5+ years experience working with the product and data teams managing complex business processes
- Certified Scrum Master, PMP or other equivalent professional certifications
- Experience with tier 1 ERP systems - Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP/SAP etc primarily in the Finance areas
- Get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
- Strong change management, communication, and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organizations
- Demonstrated track record of driving programs/projects to meet business requirements and challenging delivery dates
- Ability to allocate time effectively across multiple competing priorities
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills with ability to influence
- Ability to lead a programs with minimal direction and manage with minimal-to-no support

- Experience working with custom financial products and complex business solutions with global footprint
- You feel comfortable leading process discussions and proposing technology solutions that automate and improve processes
- Familiarity working with Google Suite
