Job Description
- Senior Python Programmer Summary OneMagnify headquartered in Detroit, MI. We are looking for an experienced Python programmer to work from our Chennai location. Responsibilities include: Independently interacts with client management to prioritize projects, tasks and deliverables Independently leads extracting, transforming, and analyzing data within Python and SQL Independently executes data analysis using appropriate tools and techniques Interface with business partners, technical and analytics teams to determine data-related requirements and priorities Recommend and document business rules and processes Monitor data flows/processes/analytics for quality issues Develop/enhance data quality reports Perform Root Cause analysis and investigation on all Python/SQL related processes Create end-user documentation for analytical processes Additional duties as required for the efficient, smooth and timely flow of work and information Qualifications/Skills: Five to seven years Python programming Five to seven years Python libraries including Matplotlib, NumPy, Pandas, etc. Five to seven years data manipulation/creation/collation using scripting language for analytics usage Five to seven years of assessing and trouble-shooting data issues on multiple platforms Five to seven years of hands on experience mining and analyzing data Five to seven years using SQL to query and interpret data from multiple database platforms Familiarity with R and or SAS are nice-to-haves Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts About You: You have superb attention to detail You enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment You have a curiosity about using data to provide solutions Education: Required: BA / BS in computer science, management information systems, statistics, mathematics, marketing research or equivalent technical or semi-technical undergraduate degree with emphasis in statistics.
