Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Vendor Onboarding and Management in SAP Ariba :
a. Review incoming supplier requests for onboarding
b. Manage vendor onboarding activities in coordination with quality and other support teams
c. Manage MIS in SAP for materials, Vendor database
2. Market Tracking :
a. Keep track market development in terms of new technology, supplier base and cost trends
b. Engage with the vendor base, manage vendor development process, and partnerships if any
3. Sourcing and Contracting :
a. Responsible for managing RFP process for sourcing of equipment based on BoM/Purchase requisitions
b. Evaluate and negotiate with vendors for best offers and seek purchase approval
c. Negotiate and finalize the procurement contracts based on ReNew standard terms
d. Manage sourcing activities in SAP Ariba
e. Manage quality and timely delivery of equipment/service in coordination with project execution/engineering team
4. Payment Handling :
a. Manage Tracking, reviewing, and submission of invoices
b. Enable smooth operation of invoice and payment processing
c. Managing vendors requests and queries.
5. Logistics
6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
7. Increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety
Functional/ Domain expertise :
- Negotiation skills, Contract Drafting, Project Management skills, Understanding Techno commercial aspects in holistic manner
- Communication skills
- Ability to articulate critical aspects, good listening skills. Ability to build consensus
- Teamwork
- Ability to work in synchronization with Projects, Quality, Engineering and Finance
- Experience of handling strategic partnerships
Profile & Eligibility Criteria :
- Bachelor's/Master's degree with 10+ years of experience and 3+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management
- Experience in building and managing teams.
- Experience in drafting, negotiate and manage agreements.
- Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions.
