Job Description
- The Slot Game Mathematician is integral to developing compelling and commercially successful games by designing and optimizing mathematical models that enhance gameplay and player engagement. Your role will focus on creating, simulating, and refining game algorithms to ensure they meet our strategic objectives and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mathematical models for slot games, ensuring alignment with project specifications and market trends. Collaborate closely with the Product Team to interpret game concepts and translate them into mathematical models that deliver intended player experiences. Utilize advanced statistical tools and programming skills to create game simulations and algorithms. Continuously iterate and refine game models based on feedback from testing phases to achieve desired Return to Player (RTP) rates and gaming dynamics. Prepare detailed statistical analysis and probability models to ensure game performance consistency and compliance with regulatory standards. Work alongside software developers and graphic designers to integrate mathematical models with game narratives and aesthetics. Document and maintain a comprehensive database of all game algorithms and outcomes for future reference and audits. Participate in regular team meetings to report on progress, share insights, and align on development timelines. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 6 months of experience in mathematical modeling for games, preferably in the casino or video gaming industry. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with a strong emphasis on algorithmic design. Advanced skills in Excel and specialized mathematical software for model testing and data analysis. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong quantitative skills. Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborating across disciplines. Fluent in English, with impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Attributes: Knowledge of casino game certification and regulatory compliance processes. Experience with Random Number Generator (RNG) logic and its application in games. Passion for gaming and a keen understanding of casino game trends and player psychology.,
