Designation: Senior Engineer Updated: March 17, 2025 Location: Bihar, India Organization: Cement Job Description: Title: PF Process & QC Location: GU - Patliputra Cement Works Department: Process & QC Qualification: B.E. Chemical / Diploma Cement technology Main Skills Supervise & monitor to ensure running of Cement Mill operations without any trouble at optimized cost with defined parameter for uninterrupted plant production and quality. Description Experience in Cement Plant Operations primarily Experience in grinding media sorting and degradation Shutdown Activity, grinding media Planning, Inventory Control, Execution & Shutdown. Grinding media top up planning and wear rate monitoring. All operation related SOP knowledge regarding Hopper cleaning/ HAG cleaning etc. Production report preparation in SAP Site knowledge for cement mill VRM, Ball mill with RP and Heat balance and flow balance Exposure to ISO/ OHSAS/ EMS/ WCM/ Safety Standards etc. Being shift duty position needs earlier hands-on experience to get familiar with logics / interlocks etc. for smooth mill running & safety Cost Optimization and Control (Identify and analyze various process inputs and parameters like power etc., for cost reduction and ensure cost effective plant operation.) Supervise & monitor timely execution of repairs in CM section and readiness of standby equipment's for improvement of equipment availability.
