Do you have a knack for analyzing data-related business processes and building robust data solutions Are you experienced in an Investment Banking environment We re looking for someone like that who can help us:
engage Business & IT Stakeholders and partners to co-author and co-create solutions and contribute to define priorities
adhere to Enterprise Application design standards as well as SDLC guidelines and agile policies
design and implement controls to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the systems, processes, team structures.
engage Software vendors and develop strong working relationship
orchestrate and manage the change portfolio and deliver the work within time, budget, and quality thresholds
connect with the Global IT team to explore and develop synergies, cross-leverage opportunities to meet our business needs in the most cost effective but sustainable way.

Your team

You ll be working in the GCRG IT team based in Pune facing key stakeholders. Our role is to design and implement innovated IT solutions to meet UBS' regulatory commitments. You will be part of a global team that is responsible for delivering Compli-ance Monitoring and Oversight IT program - supporting the surveillance of bank-wide trading activity.

multi-year experience working on design and development of data solutions - in investment banking and compliance related projects
intermediate to advanced level data analysis and development experience in Oracle SQL and PLSQL
experience in writing UNIX shell & python scripts
ETL Experience preferred in Informatica Power Center, Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure DataBricks) including automation/scheduling of data flows
strong database skills Oracle and PostgreSQL preferred
should have Azure experience or knowledge
able to give solutions by thoroughly analyzing the flow of data across different layers and technologies
in-Depth functional expertise on End-to-end Trade Execution and Validation lifecycle
thorough understanding on how various financial products work for e.g., Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Futures, Options
experience in applying business analysis techniques and the ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and develop robust solutions
contribute to all aspects of quality assurance, release and risk management activities. Prepare materials and
presentation to senior management
excellent communication skills, very comfortable liaising with senior management and business stakeholders
excellent problem-solving skills to provide simple solutions to complex problems
You are:
well versed with software development life cycle, configuration management, source code management, software release processes and ITIL framework
adaptable, able to work across diverse teams and functions across multiple cultures
able to demonstrate facilitative approach to issue resolution and show willingness to cross role boundaries to achieve desired outcomes
the ability to write clear, concise and thorough requirements and functional design documentation to a professional standard
