Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Test Team Lead (TL) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of software testers, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a crucial role in developing testing strategies, managing test processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What will your job look like
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software testers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
- Test Execution: Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring that all software products meet quality standards before release.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software design and functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
- Reporting: Prepare and present test progress reports, metrics, and quality assessments to management and stakeholders.
- Tool Management: Evaluate and implement testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
All you need is...
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes (both manual and automated testing).
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are preferred.
