Cloud Software Engineer - Pune - Varian @ Varian Medical Systems

Job Description

• Interest for learning Azure and Cloud technologies and a desire to continually improve your skill set.
• Develop and demonstrate high quality prototypes / modules and finished applications that meet the desired goals, quality and are well documented
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences.
• Participate in troubleshooting complex issues and resolving defects
• Provide consulting to development teams
• Stay in touch with latest and upcoming Microsoft/ open source technologies

Qualifications Required: BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science

Experience (Years): 6+

Skills:

Technologies required : Strong work experience with: .Net, .Net Core, C#, REST/WebAPI, Entity Framework

Experience working with : Microsoft Azure PaaS offerings and Azure Kubernetes Service

• Strong hands- on experience developing RESTful services, WCF
• Knowledge of web service Security standards (e.g.- WS- Security, X509, SSL, OAuth etc)
• Experience with Azure SQL, MSSQL server, experience working with Entity Framework
• Experience writing Unit and Integration tests
• Experience in developing solutions for Microsoft Azure Cloud using Azure PaaS services like AzureSQL, ServiceBus, Vault, AzureAD etc
• Solid understanding and experience setting up Continuous Integration Deployment pipelines
• Work experience with open source technology
• Hands on experience in low level design
