Job Description

Micros X store: 3 Years-7 Years The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work in a team independently during the whole life-cycle of a project in definition , construction , delivery and support of industry focused solutions to retailers. The role will focus on the enablement for delivery and delivery of packaged solutions and custom solutions around store systems. Delivery of Packaged Solution - Coordination with the packaged solutions team on functional and technical requirements for reusable assets. Technical Expertise Work within the team under mentorship of project lead/module lead to deliver as per the technical/functional requirement. Candidate Requirements: - Experience in working with Xstore , Xcenter , Xpay , and Xsettlement. - Strong functional / technical knowledge of retail domain and integration point of POS with other Oracle modules. - Oracle Retail Xstore POS implementation / development experience - Strong hands on experience in planning , testing and executing upgrades and patches. - Extensive knowledge of retail POS processes , including customer facing (sales returns management , promotions pricing , loyalty , etc) and back-office (cash management , opening closing , TLOG processing). - Experience working in enterprise development team environment , familiar with Eclipse , configuration management , and defect tracking tools. - Proven hands-on Java application development experience - Solid SQL development skills - Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Able to effectively convey complicated technical information to diverse audiences - Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. Ability to propose and evaluate technical solution alternatives , assessing the pros and cons of each approach
