Job Description
Assist in managing a team responsible for package software application development.
Contribute to the timely delivery of software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
Coordinate communication within the team and resolve project challenges.
Additional = Good to have knowledge of Annuity Insurance.
Delivering assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of an application development project. Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications; performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program.
You will be working under supervision from the Technical lead/Project Manager or a Senior Developer to accomplish assigned tasks. At the same time contribute a design for specific deliverables and assist in the development of technical solutions.
Prepare software technical documentation based on functional documentation and specifications, taking into account any specified functional and technical requirements.

You are expected to work within an international environment, using a broad set of technologies and frameworks.
Skills
Must have
13 years total industry experience., at least.
Must have experience on managing and leading project teams in an enterprise level projects.
Hands on experience on Magic XPA developer, preferably for Transcend Life and Annuity product.
Hands on experience in design and development (Oracle PL/SQL) of databases.
Hands on experience on Unix shell scripting.
Liaise with business stakeholders directly (where required) to refine requirements, understand them and provide guidance.
Developing new annuity products, enhance existing products with new rider features, be involved in production support for the annuity policy administration system, and work in a Kanban environment, leading a product by understanding business requirements and refining it for further development.
Work with business team to understand the problem and craft the solution which really fits into client needs.
A team player with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, logical-thinking and analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly communicate with client stakeholders.
Nice to have
Insurance industry experience.
