Job Description
Major responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of small to medium scale projects
- Plan projects, including features, costs, timelines and quality
- Regularly track project progress against established objectives and provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
- Extensively coordinate and synchronize activities between software engineering, quality engineering, product management, customer services and manufacturing functions.
- Work with functional managers to acquire necessary people resources. Drive each functional area through respective functional leads.
- Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Minimize project risks.
- Actively resolve project hindrances and resolve/escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Maintain up- to- date project documentation.
- Ensure conformance to Varian s quality policies and procedures.
Education : BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.
Experience : 8 + yrs Total Work Experience. Min 2+ yrs in Project Management
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent ability to work in a team environment.
- Good understanding of software development
- Project management/Scrum Master or Product Owner experience in software product development projects.
- Ability to manage multiple software projects.
- Possess strong leadership qualities
- Strong ability to plan and organize, with a systematic, structured and disciplined approach
- Excellent communication and consensus building skills
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Experience in agile software organization
- Good to have experience of delivering cloud software projects
- Nice to have prior software project management experience in a healthcare or medical devices environment.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and BSI standards for medical devices [HK1]
