Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timelines
- Develop detailed project plans and track progress using appropriate project management tools
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the successful execution of projects
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Facilitate the definition of project requirements and develop project strategies
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- PMP or other project management certification preferred
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Asana, etc.)
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycle
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and enterprise applications
- Understanding of software development processes
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
- Experience with cloud technologies and implementations
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
