Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer who can function as a team player, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software within defined timelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test cases for upcoming features across unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Execute manual test cases and work closely with Product & Development teams.
- Ensure the seamless rollout of new features and bug fixes with minimal errors within defined deadlines.
- Write and maintain functional automation scripts.
- Contribute to test framework development and enhancements as needed.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of testing activities.
- Adopt and implement new tools and technologies to enhance software quality
Skills:
- Strong understanding of testing fundamentals with 2-5 years of experience in all phases of STLC.
- Experience in Web testing, Mobile Apps testing (Android and iOS), and API testing.
- Ability to design and create Test Cases based on the Requirement documents.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright etc.
- Strong debugging skills and working knowledge of web services, databases, and web technologies (REST, AJAX, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Experience working with JIRA for test management and issue tracking.
- Self-organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-6 years of industry experience.
