Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Commerce Cloud Architect
Job Summary:
The Oracle Commerce Cloud Architect is responsible for designing implementing and managing Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translating them into technical solutions that leverage Oracle Commerce Clouds capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design Develop comprehensive architecture and design for Oracle Commerce Cloud implementations ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
- Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle from initial requirements gathering to deployment and support
- Integration Design and implement integrations with other enterprise systems such as ERP CRM and thirdparty applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation
- Customization Customize Oracle Commerce Cloud features and functionalities to meet specific client needs including developing custom extensions and enhancements
- Performance Optimization Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions ensuring high availability scalability and responsiveness
- Security Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Client Collaboration Work closely with clients to understand their business processes provide technical expertise and deliver solutions that drive business value
- Documentation Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams design specifications and user guides
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience Extensive experience in designing and implementing Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions with a strong understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices
- Technical Expertise Proficiency in Oracle Commerce Cloud including its architecture APIs and customization capabilities Knowledge of related technologies such as Java JavaScript HTML CSS and RESTful web services
- OSF Open Storefront Framework Experience with OSF and ReactJs for building and customizing storefronts on Oracle Commerce Cloud
- NodeJs for SSE ServerSide Extensions Proficiency in using NodeJs to develop and manage serverside extensions for Oracle Commerce Cloud
- Custom Payment Integration Expertise in integrating custom payment gateways and solutions within Oracle Commerce Cloud
- Advanced Features of OCC Implementation knowledge of advanced features of Oracle Commerce Cloud such as multisite management combining both B2B and B2C punchout web checkout and advanced search capabilities
- ProblemSolving Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients stakeholders and development teams
- Project Management Experience managing projects and leading technical teams with a focus on delivering highquality solutions on time and within budget
- Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Advanced certifications in Oracle Commerce Cloud or related technologies are a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications Oracle Commerce Cloud certification or other relevant certifications
- Industry Knowledge Familiarity with industry-specific e-commerce trends and best practices
- Agile Methodologies Experience working in Agile development environments
