Job Description
Responsibilities
- Should be responsible for architecting and building the mobile platforms.
- Should coordinate with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixesReact Native moves fast and often breaks things.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Preferred Profile
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features (Promises, Async/Await, Destructuring, Spread/Rest Operators).
- Deep understanding of functional and object-oriented programming principles
- Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
- Expertise in handling third-party dependencies installation, versioning, and debugging conflicts
- Experience with native build tools Xcode (iOS), Android Studio (Android).
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Familiarity with debugging tools React DevTools, Flipper, Chrome DevTools
- Knowledge of performance optimization Virtualized lists, Memorization, Lazy loading
Skills:
- Basic understanding of native app development Bridging, Native Modules (Android/iOS)
- RESTful APIs integration Component-driven architecture & reusable UI development
- Unit & Integration Testing Jest, React Testing Library
- Build & Deployment Webpack, Babel, Metro bundler
- Version Control Git, GitHub
- HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred)
- Strong expertise in React concepts (Hooks, Lifecycle methods, Functional components, Performance optimization)
- State management Context API, React Query
- React Native framework Navigation, Gesture Handling, Animations
