Job Description

The Sales Development Executive is responsible for converting both inbound leads and outbound prospects into qualified sales opportunities for our Solution Sales Executives part of our APAC Sales team. To achieve this, the team establishes personal contact with prospective customer champions via phone, email and social media. Sales Development Executives are the first point of contact between prospective customers and SAP BTM, and it is their responsibility to introduce the product and understand the prospects current business situation. The Sales Development Executives are responsible for making calls, setting meetings, and being the face of the business for potential customers.
 
What you will do:
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding both individual and team goals and metrics through both inbound and outbound prospecting efforts
  • Learn and understand how to use different prospecting databases and tools to then proactively identify key contacts and target accounts
  • Qualify opportunities to ensure they will convert into forecasted sales pipeline
  • Close collaboration with Field Marketing to nurture inbound leads and drive follow up activities with the goal of converting marketing leads to sales qualified leads
  • Actively engage in training programs to gain expertise in SAP BTM s product offering and competitive landscape
  • Develop skills necessary for successful lead generation and demo completion
What you bring
  • Bring 2+ years of relevant experience and successful track record with business development and outbound prospecting within B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience with objection handling, lead nurturing and working with high volume activity environments through digital engagement
  • Ideally knowledge and experience in sales execution and customer engagement platforms such as Outreach, SalesLoft, or similar
  • Knowledge of business process management and enterprise architecture solutions
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a continuously evolving and quickly growing environment
  • Profound interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented by nature
  • Motivation and determination to accomplish the task at hand, in addition to excellent time management abilities
  • Good communication skills (verbally written); fluent in English language
  • bachelorsdegree in business administration, information systems or a related field of study
SAP seeks a Sales Development Executive to support our SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) solution area comprising of SAP LeanIX and SAP Signavio. SAP BTM is revolutionizing the way businesses think about their process, offering a powerful, all-in-one platform to optimize business processes and drive intelligent business transformation with live insights. This role will be responsible for driving new and incremental pipeline (sales qualified leads an opportunities) production for the solution area, leveraging digital engagement models.
