- Design, implement, and maintain Python-based applications.
- Develop, test, and optimize scalable backend solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to define software architecture and best practices.
- Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
- Continuously explore and implement industry best practices in backend development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented programming.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience or a strong desire to work with Python.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, application architecture, and best practices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of financial products (bank loans, leveraged loans, fixed income, CLOs, OTC derivatives).
- Experience with FactSet or similar financial data platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, GitLab.
