Job Responsibilities

Business Objectives

  • Drive Off-Line Sales: Fill international inventory using Indias partner profiles through strategic planning, forecasting, and target delegation.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Indian corporates, travel agents, industry influencers, and key strategic partners to generate business for international destinations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategies to set key milestones, maintain business stability, and ensure long-term growth.
  • Team Performance Management: Regularly evaluate team performance to ensure optimal productivity and meet sales targets.
  • Market-Site Visits: Plan and execute efficient market-site visits within the assigned region. Maintain and review the impact of these visits.
  • Sales Tracking: Review and monitor monthly sales progress using Sales Tracker to ensure targets are met.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide consistent feedback on market conditions, competition, pricing trends, and other factors influencing on-ground sales.
  • Competition Analysis: Stay informed about market competitors and apply acquired knowledge for change management and adapting strategies.

People Objectives

  • Leadership: Lead and provide effective guidance to a team of 6+ on-roll team members, setting clear objectives.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Ensure that the right talent is recruited, onboarded, and adequately mentored for success.
  • Coaching & Development: Empower and engage team members by coaching them on processes, products, OYO IT systems, and soft skills to maximize performance.
  • Onboarding Companies/Corporates: Demonstrate a strong track record in onboarding companies and corporates, driving new business opportunities.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure: Assist team members in negotiating and closing large deals, providing support where needed.
  • Team Empowerment: Facilitate business growth through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and action planning with the team.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the sales department and other related units, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Sales Performance Review: Regularly review and analyze sales performance against targets, addressing any outliers and optimizing strategies for growth.
