Job Description
- Job Responsibilities: Build, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Design, implement, and optimize SQL/PSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with applications. Collaborate with various teams to integrate third-party libraries and APIs, ensuring smooth functionality and user experience. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Refactor existing code and create thorough documentation to support future development and maintenance. Actively participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Utilize Git, SVN, or other version control tools to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with other team members. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver robust and innovative solutions. Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL, PSQL, Devise, and DBMS systems. Proven experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs into existing applications. Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to write raw SQL queries. Solid understanding of the Agile development lifecycle, with experience working in Agile teams. Proficiency in using Git, SVN, or other version control systems. Demonstrated ability to write readable, maintainable code and refactor existing codebases for performance improvements. Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach problems logically and systematically. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members across the organization and interact with customers when required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.,
