Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager & Data Engineer The Assistant Manager and Data Engineer will work with stakeholders to understand the cross functional (domain) business requirements , workflow mapping and will support in developing program specifications, ETL pipelines and code modules according to specifications and client standards. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities : Lead multiple Data Engineering projects to design, build, and launch data pipelines. Support the Data Scientist and Data Analytics team in extracting the required data in required format. Able to integrate the data coming from different sources and in different format, in a usable form for further analysis and processing. Create the automated pipelines for all the steps for data extraction, processing, cleaning, and merging Experience in developing Data Integration Solutions, Data Pipelines, and code modules according to specifications and client standards. Experience in requirements capturing and design from Database, BI Setup, and Implementation etc. Responsible for the analysis of the data and the build of the physical model at the various stages of the data pipeline. Ability to communicate efficiently within a multi-disciplinary project team and external agencies to complete assigned tasks on time and within specifications. Hands-on and be able to understand technical issues and seek clarification as needed. Build stakeholder relationships. Establish process rigor and should be a transformation evangelist. Compliance And Risk Management Ensure analytics practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management and analytics activities. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelors degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field; master's degree preferred Essential Skills Relevant years of experience in data integration projects using ETL tools. Experience in implementing data pipelines in Cloud environment - AWS/GCP /Azure but not mandatory. Good to have skill. Expertise in analytical tools like SAS/R/Python Proficient running SQL queries to retrieve data from data stores in Teradata, HIVE, ORACLE, Cloud AWS/Azure/GCP) In depth knowledge of data warehousing and BI concepts Good with handling structured/unstructured data from variety of sources. Accurately perceive, understand, and seek problems for better delivery. Experienced in full spectrum SDLC/ Agile programming development. Excellent code review and debugging skills. Data Modelling skills Good to have knowledge on Financial Domain Must have exceptional soft skills, including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns.
