Job Description
Expectations / Deliverables:
Building the GOYN brand in the city of Bhubaneshwar
Overseeing and partnering with appropriate organisations for ecosystem mapping and developing the Theory of Change
Building the collaborative in the city through Multistakeholder Advisory Group, Youth Advisory Group, sector specific working groups as required, broader ecosystem building, co-creation and alignment towards ToC for transformation of y
outh social and economic outcomes in Bhubaneswar and defining roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder
Establish strong working relationships with partners from the city level livelihood ecosystems Partnership building: Interfacing with ward level networks, Government (Corporators, Ward Officers, PMC personnel), employers, placement agencies, NGOs, skilling organisations for ecosystem mapping, mobilisation, skilling, placement and other support needed by the youth
Mobilise citizens for GOYN volunteering activities
Manage brand building activities e.g., Events, which are specific to GOYN and help with advocacy with the local economy for youth placements.
Liaise with the Government departments for setting up a cell within the State Government to support attracting private investment in the city and ongoing employer/demand mapping by sector
Youth Advisory Group: Develop the Youth Advisory Group of GOYN to build a collaborative youth voice for the GOYN program.
Work on building Youth Leadership, agency and capacity building among youth leaders, preparing youth for national and international convenings and exchanges, civic engagement etc
Development of Youth Well Being Index in partnership with identified stakeholders, overseeing the baseline, midline and endline surveys for the same
Supporting the broader vision of GOYN and the team as required
Managing a team of minimum 3 people
