Job Description
- Job Title: Manager Operations Department: Medical Coding Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai Work Type: Work from Office Key Responsibilities Grow and develop business from existing clients while exploring opportunities to add new clients and service lines. Continually improve processes to achieve operational excellence. Understand and meet client requirements with the objective of delighting the customer. Lead, manage, motivate, and develop team members. Manage and reduce attrition within acceptable levels. Ensure compliance with management systems. Manage the P&L for the coding team. Monitor KPIs and variance reports, providing updates to clients and ensuring delivery against SLAs. Coordinate between clients and the operations team to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery. Maintain prompt communication with clients. Be flexible and responsive to client needs to enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct compliance audits to identify process gaps and implement corrective actions. Plan and allocate resources to improve process efficiencies. Monitor and ensure the accuracy of data used for invoicing. Manage team performance through periodic reviews and performance appraisals. Identify training needs for team members and facilitate their development. Continuously improve processes through root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Coach, motivate, and guide team members while providing front-line supervision. Conduct performance reviews and developmental programs for team members. Plan, delegate, and allocate work within the coding process. Monitor and ensure standards for productivity, service delivery, and overall results of the coding teams. Track daily progress/status and make adjustments to ensure optimal performance and service. Ensure teams meet and exceed contractual and service level obligations to customers. Address and resolve issues raised by team members. Apply research, information gathering, and analytical skills to complex activities and issues. Assess accuracy and adherence to process guidelines. Track and maintain regular and ad hoc reports. Experience & Qualifications Graduate in any stream; preferred in Life Sciences. 8+ years of experience in Medical Coding with ED and E&M specialty. Currently managing 30+ FTEs in the role of Assistant Manager or above. Relevant certification: CPC, CIC, COC, CCS, or any other certification in Medical Coding.,
