- Job Description Yoga & Wellness Instructor Job Title: Part-time/Consultant Yoga & Wellness Instructor Location: Gurugram Reports to: Head of Operations Position Type: Part-Time / Consultant Job Summary SOUL SPACE is seeking an experienced and compassionate Yoga & Wellness Instructor on a part-time/consultant basis to join our wellness team with expertise in Art of Living principles, wellness coaching, and public speaking to engage our clients in meaningful, transformative practices. In this role, you will lead yoga and meditation sessions tailored to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, promoting relaxation, emotional balance, and overall well-being. As a part-time/consultant instructor, you will work with clients to help them manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues through mindfulness-based movement practices. Key Responsibilities Lead Engaging Yoga Classes Conduct yoga sessions that cater to a variety of experience levels, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. Incorporate Art of Living techniques, including pranayama and meditation, to promote mindfulness and stress relief. Moderate Group Sessions With Strong Public Speaking Skills Facilitate group sessions with confidence, ensuring all participants feel heard, engaged, and supported. Use excellent public speaking skills to create an open, warm, and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging group participation and dialogue. Effectively manage time and flow during sessions to keep the group energized and focused. Conduct Virtual Sessions and Online Wellness Workshops Lead virtual yoga and wellness classes, utilizing online platforms to provide an interactive, immersive experience for remote participants. Adapt in-person techniques to an online format, engaging participants through clear verbal instructions, visual demonstrations, and personalized feedback. Stay updated on digital tools and trends in virtual wellness to enhance online client engagement. Individual Consultations and Wellness Coaching Provide one-on-one wellness consultations tailored to client needs, helping them set achievable health goals. Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications and practices aligned with holistic health principles. Qualifications Certified Yoga Instructor with a minimum 200-hour certification preferred. Experience in Public Speaking and Group Facilitation: Confident and articulate in leading group discussions, seminars, and individual coaching sessions. Knowledgeable in Art of Living techniques, mindfulness, and wellness counseling. Tech-savvy, with experience in leading virtual sessions on platforms like Zoom, Teams, or other digital meeting tools.
