Job Description
Our OMAN base Client is Looking for a General Physician (MD) Doctor for Old Age Home - Muscat OMAN.
Face to Face Interview Directly with the Client (Interview Day and time will be shared, Once Scheduled)
We need Candidates who can take good care of Old People with their Daily Activities
Descriptions:
- Comprehensive Assessment: Evaluating the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of older adults.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Accurately diagnosing medical conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans, considering the unique challenges of aging.
- Medication Management: Managing polypharmacy (multiple medications) and potential drug interactions, a common issue in older adults.
- Pain and Symptom Management: Effectively managing pain and other symptoms, which can be particularly challenging in older populations.
- Emergency Care: Providing prompt and effective care in emergency situations.
- Diagnostic Testing: Understanding and interpreting various diagnostic tests and procedures relevant to older adults.
- Active Listening: Paying close attention to patients and their concerns.
- Empathy and Compassion: Understanding and addressing the emotional needs of older patients and their families.
- Clear Communication: Explaining medical information in a way that patients can understand, considering potential cognitive or sensory impairments.
- Family Involvement: Communicating effectively with family members and involving them in care decisions.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respecting the diverse cultural backgrounds of older adults.
- Care Planning: Developing and implementing individualized care plans that address the specific needs of older adults.
- Palliative Care: Providing comfort and support to patients with advanced illnesses and their families.
- End-of-Life Care: Understanding and providing compassionate end-of-life care, including discussions about goals of care and advance directives.
- Professionalism: Maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct and patient care.
- Patience: Recognizing that older adults may have different paces of learning and processing information.
- Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in assessing and monitoring patients, as subtle changes can indicate significant problems.
- Lifelong Learning: Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in geriatric medicine and care.
- Leadership: Effectively leading and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing emotions effectively, both in oneself and in patients and their families.
Salary: 1500 OMR Monthly (3.35 Lakh Rupees)
Experience: 5 - 8 years
Job Function: Geriatric care, Geriatricians, General Physician, Elder Care
Qualification: MD with Hospital Experience will be Preferred
Locations: Muscat, OMAN

Language: English or Arabic Required
2 Years Contract Period
9 Hours Duty
A Valid and Active Passport is Must Required
MOH Licence Required or Eligible
