Job Description
Customization and Development:
Design and implement customized Odoo modules and features based on business requirements.
Develop new functionalities, enhancements, and integrations within the Odoo ecosystem.
Write clean and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the Odoo team.
Lead code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency.
Module Configuration:
Configure and customize existing Odoo modules to align with specific business processes.
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Integration:
Integrate Odoo with third-party systems, applications, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
Performance Optimization:
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize Odoo applications for speed and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze system performance, suggesting improvements as necessary.
Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Problem Solving:
Analyze and resolve technical challenges and issues that arise during the development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and debug software defects to ensure smooth operation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, project managers, and UI/UX designers, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a senior developer with a focus on Odoo development.
Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with the Odoo development framework.
Experience with Odoo configuration, customization, and module development.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web services (RESTful APIs).
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant Odoo certifications (preferred but not required).
