Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Node.js Backend Developer with expertise in NestJS to build and maintain robust backend systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing APIs for mobile applications, working with NoSQL databases (preferably DynamoDB), and demonstrating strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.
Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for mobile applications.
Optimize database queries and structures in NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Collaborate with frontend and mobile app developers to ensure seamless integration.
Implement security and data protection best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
Strong expertise in NestJS framework.
Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs for mobile applications.
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB preferred).
Understanding of AWS services and serverless architecture is a plus.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless technologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Exposure to event-driven architectures using Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS.
