Job Description
AVP/ Senior Manager IT Infrastructure to oversee and manage the organization's on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. Network Administration: Manage network architecture, MPLS, firewalls, VPNs and secure connectivity across locations. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, regulatory compliance (SEBI guidelines) and timely security audits. Server & Cloud Management: Oversee Windows/Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization and storage solutions. IT Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement and manage monitoring tools for proactive issue detection and response. Backup & Disaster Recovery Management: o Implement and oversee backup solutions for critical systems and databases. o Ensure regular backup testing, validation and data recovery procedures. o Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) strategies to minimize downtime. Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Ensure infrastructure resilience and minimize risks related to system failures or security incidents. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with service providers, auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and service efficiency. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the IT infrastructure team, ensuring adherence to best practices and security policies. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Functional Competencies
Strong understanding of MPLS, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers and Cloud Security. Experience in managing SEBI IT Compliance, VAPT and Security Audits. Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments or On premise Servers deployed in Data Centers. Backup and disaster recovery expertise, including experience with tools like Veeam, Commvault, Acronis, or NetBackup. Proficiency in IT monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.) for proactive infrastructure management.
Behavioral Competencies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):
CCNP / CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Professional/Expert) AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications CISSP / CISM / CEH (Cybersecurity Certifications) ITIL Certification for IT Service Management Certified Backup & Disaster Recovery Professional (CBDRP)
