Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Site Supervision and Assistance:
• Assisting senior engineers in supervising on-site construction activities.
• Monitoring the progress of work and ensuring it aligns with project plans and specifications.
• Conducting site inspections to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Documenting site activities and reporting progress to senior engineers.
• Technical Support:
• Assisting in the interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Performing basic calculations and assisting with quantity surveying.
• Supporting the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD/Bric Sys) to assist in drafting and design modifications.
• Preparation and checking of contractors billing are a must.
• Quality Control:
• Assisting in the implementation of quality control procedures.
• Monitoring material testing and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Identifying and reporting any deviations from quality standards.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
• Reporting any safety hazards to senior engineers.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Coordinating with subcontractors and other on-site personnel.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assisting in site meetings.
