Job Description
We are looking for Civil Design Engineer for our Power - Transformer division at Gurgaon. we are looking for experience in Civil designing in power substation
Role & responsibilities
- Preparation of detailed engineering calculations for various civil & structural component like Control room building, Switchyard panel room, Pump house, Security room, Store building, Transformer & Reactor foundations, Firewall, Boundary wall, Switchyard equipment etc.
- Preparation of detailed engineering calculations for miscellaneous activities like Indoor & Outdoor Cable Trenches, Storm water drainage system, Gravel spreading layouts etc.
- Review and finalization of detailed engineering drawings for submission.
- Providing guidance for preparing engineering drawings.
- Studying & Analyzing tender document for scope related to Civil work required for Electrical system of new & extension packages.
- Reviewing Tender documents & provide Pre-Bid Queries/clarification to Tendering Team to eliminate any ambiguities in technical specification.
- Developing of concept architectural drawings of AIS/GIS Building, Security Room, Pump House, Parking Shed, Store Building etc.
- Preparation of preliminary design considering concept architectural drawings, electrical layouts, project technical specification and relevant Indian standards.
- Preparation of concept drawings/design for various miscellaneous items like switchyard road, drainage system, switchyard fence, peripheral boundary wall etc.
- Preparation of civil/structure bill of quantity for estimation considering project technical specification, concept design/drawings of various items to be executed for project completion.
- Review of all concept design/drawings and bill of quantity for preparing competitive bid document.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E.- Civil / Diploma -Civil with 10 plus years of experience in civil designing, tendoring
- Experience in designing power substation
