Job Description
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- In-depth knowledge of Flask framework for API development
- Experience with API design and development best practices.
- Understanding of security standards for APIs
- Familiarity with task scheduling and caching mechanisms
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience working with JSON data structures.
- Knowledge of AWS DynamoDB and boto framework is a preferred.
- Experience with model-driven UI development is a bonus.
- Experience with Nginx and Gunicorn is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Identify the drug screening requirements for this position
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Flask-based APIs, adhering to best practices and security standards.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable API architectures.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable Python code.
- Leverage Flask's features for task scheduling, caching, and other performance optimizations.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) in Python
- Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless API integration.
- Work closely with business and technical leadership to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Experience with building dashboards is a plus.
- Handle large JSON data payloads efficiently.
- Knowledge of AWS DynamoDB and boto framework for interacting with AWS services is a significant advantage.
- Experience with model-driven UI development is a plus.
- Experience with Nginx and Gunicorn for deployment and scaling of Flask applications is an asset.
- Possess a foundational understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
