Job Description :
The Mechanical Engineer for Static Engineering GT Inlet Systems (Air Filter House, Inlet Duct, Supports) will work on design and development of Heavy-duty Gas Turbine (GT) Accessories systems.
This role will work on Requisition Engineering delivery and site issues support with execution for all stages of the life cycle of the Static Equipment starting from Ordering Engineering to field issues resolutions
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver on Requisition of new unit projects.
- Read understating of P&ID (Piping & instrumentation Diagrams), Supplier Drawings, datasheets.
- Use & develop expertise in Structural design and proficiency in using tools to develop and validate the designs.
- Develop innovative ways to simplify design & processes & develop a cost-effective products & drive positive project margins.
- Interact and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as Drafting Team, Soppier (Manufacturing/Assemblies), Sourcing, Review and Approvals
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
- Resolving Issues such as Non-Conformance, Supplier Deviation, and Request for Information.
- Document design work clearly and meticulously.
- Prioritize and plan the tasks to efficiently manage and deliver thereby also meeting On Time Delivery (Schedule) and First Pass Yield (Quality)
- Understand Gas Turbine design and the various products in the portfolio.
- NPI deliverables & other key activities related to Enclosure & Accessories Systems
