Excellent opportunity for Bangalore Location. Exp - 5+Yrs. Location- Bangalore. Notice period - 30Days. Please find below JD. Responsibilities:
Day to day operational support of backup environments: EMC Networker, EMC Data Domain
Monitor ticket queue and email to identify and resolve production issues
Monitor disk and tape backup environment to make sure backups complete successfully
Manage configuration of disk and tape backup, including tape labeling and pool management, schedule management
Take ownership of issues to see them through to resolution, even if the resolution is provided by an external team or vendor
Scheduling/execution of planned infrastructure changes and events
Provide client support related to storage and backups via email and phone, escalating as necessary
Work with global team, taking and providing warm handover to ensure continuity of issue resolution
Work with platform vendors to pursue issue resolution
Potential cross training with other platforms: Unix, Windows, Database Additional Info: oSchedule flexibility is required. Weekend work is also required
oExperience in Investment Banking sector is a plus. Skills: Skills:
Tape backup data restore using Networker.
Administration and troubleshooting skill on: Networker, Data Domain
Administering the Networker Management Console Server and command line exposure
Experience in Tape Library management and troubleshooting
Experience in medium to large IT infrastructure across multiple datacenters
Good understanding of enterprise level change, incident, and problem management process
Effective communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a global team
Ability to work and prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment with a global focus
Automation utilizing scripting languages like bash, python and/or perl
SRDF, SRDF/A and Snap Mirror technologies.
Experience in EMC SAN (VNX, VMAX), Hitachi SAN, EMC Atmos is plus. Education: EXPERIENCE: 5 - 6 Years
Schedule flexibility is required. Weekend work is also required
Experience in Investment Banking sector is a plus.
