Job Description
- Senior Engineer - Validation Education BTech/MTech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics Engg Experience range : 4-7 years Details of know-how expected : Experience in Automotive or Transportation domain. Experience in setting up embedded system and software test setup and automation. Knowledge of C language. Knowledge of testing firmware / middleware software for 16/32-bit processors. Experience in communication protocols like CAN, LIN. Understanding of electronics hardware e.g., ADC, CAN, PROCESSOR, IO interfaces etc. Knowledge in Operating System RTOS and non-RTOS based software testing. Hands on with debuggers and test equipment like DSO, DMM etc. Experience in tools like Enterprise Architect, PTC, DOORS, SVN, JIRA. Should have worked on test tools CANanalyzer, CANoe, CANoe.DIVA, vTeststudio Should have experience in scripting language like CAPL, Python. Experience in test methodologies, Vector HIL testing, System Integration testing. Experience in workflow for SDLC. Preferred ISTQB certification in software testing. Strong Problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and dynamic individual. Knowledge of ASPICE process. Should be a good team player. Technical Role and Responsibilities Analyzing and interpreting system / product / software requirements and architecture design. Actively take part in the continuous improvement of product verification and validation practices. Contributing to the preparation of quotes for the testing part. Actively prepare the test bench setups. Actively participates in innovation, improving productivity and efficiency. Participating/defining practices to ensure software meets automotive standards in terms of reliability and safety. Participating/defining practices to ensure software is modular, reusable, documented and tested by a test team. Prepare system and software test specifications. Prepare or support for Test planning. Prepare / participate in system or software verification and validation plan. Execute / review the software/System testing according to automotive standards. Prepare the software test reports, traceability and review reports. Prepare automation for test cases. Participate in product design, development, and testing. Debug and support in solving technical problems. Support in Software validation (review, issue solving, support test bench). Meeting the automotive quality standards / procedure.,
