Job Description
- Data Structure Governance: data fields, attributes, and structures to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data integrity.
- Data Quality Validation: Implement data quality checks to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies across systems. - Develop and apply data validation rules to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in data reconciliation activities, particularly in data migration, integration, and transformation projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis of data anomalies and propose corrective measures.
- Data Extraction, Transformation Reporting: - Perform data extraction and transformation using SQL and other analytical tools.
- Collaboration: - Act as a liaison between business, IT, and data engineering teams to improve data handling processes. - Work with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure that data standards align with industry regulations.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data governance frameworks
- Expertise in SQL for data querying, extraction, and transformation
- Experience in data reconciliation, validation, and anomaly detection
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience working in financial services, credit bureaus, or banking sectors, Exposure to Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced data analytics
- Experience working in a Credit Bureau/Banking Sector or similar role industry Strong understanding of bureau-specific data submission formats, structures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of how data gets injected into the bureau ecosystem, including ingestion pipelines and processing workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
