Network Test Engineer Duties & Responsibilities

Configure servers and install software on Linux and Windows environments.
Maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways.
Follow all documented Change Control process requirements to implement changes in the test environment.
Ability to troubleshoot IP networks, which requires in-depth understanding of the ISO layers of IP networking familiarity with routers, switches and standard IP protocol analyzers.
Extend test coverage.
Part of Budapest Test Engineering team of 8 engineers.
Responsible for the test network architecture and operation on 3 locations and over 20 production lines.
In charge to ensure proper synchronization with customer networks.
Part of a team that will ensure a professional working environment and best-in-class test coverage for telecom backhaul system manufacturing sites.
Will be able to come up with test strategy for a release (or) product line.
