Job Description
- This position is responsible for Complete Ownership of Exterior Commodities from Start of the program to Job-1+90 which is complete engineering development cycle.
- Understand the Program requirement & Scope for engineering from given In puts & Package & Define Complexity or Usage of the parts , Such that it meets attribute requirements, Durability, Thermal, Weight, Cost etc.
- Project Management: Communicate effectively with CFT Teams like Material Engineering, SME, AME, Vehicle Engineering, V ehicle integration, VFM, to Escalate, Document & Resolve issues to Ensure Part releases are on time.
- Supplier Management: Send & Review RFQ Response with supplier, ESOW Creation & Alignment of supplier on Timing & Cost with program budget, Quality (SCSS) Fixture design, Process Validation Confirmation.
- Quality Management: Must be able to define GD&T, SCSS, DVP, DFMEA & Alignment wit h Cross functional team with the same. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (AIS, FMVSS, UN, and ECE etc.)
- Product Validation: Responsible for Define PV & DV Validation requirement & execute testing Plan for the same, get it approved from Concerned Program Panel teams.
- TTL Business Support - Should be able to support knowledge management like EDS Documentation, RFQ programs Support vehicle launch and pre-production builds (both virtual and physical)
- Knowledge / Experience Essential: Good Design and development knowledge of complete Exterior trims for its Function, & Attribute Requirements, Manufacturing Process requirements, Safety Regulations.
- Must have experience in master section development, Style feasibility, tooling requirements Fixation & Location Scheme concepts considering gap & Flush GD&T DFMEA. Experience to work with internal cross functional teams like Finance, Manufacturing, Purchase, Vehicle engineering to understand requirements & feasibility of given proposal & update as per inputs from them.
- Should have worked at least on one project for complete Development cycle.
- Should have commendable experience in Catia-V5/V6 Surface. T&F Build support Experience will be an added advantage.
- Domain / Components: Lids: Bonnet, Tailgate, Fender, Charge Bowl, Roof Rails.
