We at Yapsody are embarking on a new endeavor to make our software intelligible, memorable, and meaningful for customers. This is a super challenging opportunity for a true UI/ UX Designer looking to make an impact on a feature-rich, mass-market product used in dozens of countries representing every inhabited continent. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive user experiences and visually appealing designs.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interactive mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and iterate designs based on usability testing.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistent design across multiple platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with the intended user experience.
- Collaborate with the product management team to gather and prioritize user requirements
Requirements:
- Strong work portfolio exhibiting attention to detail and ability to demonstrate the decision process and rationale behind each design element
- Proven excellence in all relevant aspects of UI, including typography, color balance, use of graphic design elements, information hierarchy, etc.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Photoshop.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision by relying on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals
- Basic understanding of the development practicalities and limitations of front-end technologies that are used for implementing designs
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage others
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills with ability to be a persuasive and sell your ideas
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
