Job Description
We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure environments, data pipeline principles, and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, Fabric and Graph technologies, and be capable of working independently to design and implement end-to-end data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Microsoft Azure using tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and Synapse Pipelines.
- Build and optimize data models and transformations in Fabric and Graph environments for efficient data processing and analytics.
- Develop data integration solutions for ingesting, transforming, and processing structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Work independently on projects, from gathering requirements to deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
- Leverage Power BI for reporting and data visualization, ensuring effective presentation of insights.
- Optimize ETL performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
- Implement and enforce best practices in data architecture, security, and governance within the Azure ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD implementation, and workflow automation.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, and data pipeline management.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and Fabric.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline principles, including batch and real-time processing.
- Experience with Graph databases and their application within enterprise solutions.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, and take ownership of end-to-end ETL processes.
- Must have Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or PowerShell for data transformation and automation.
- Experience working with REST APIs for data extraction and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Working knowledge of APIs and how they interact with data pipelines.
- Experience with data cleansing techniques to ensure high-quality and accurate datasets.
