Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Communicate with the Director of Design to interpret and execute the design and brand strategy for all categories of business.
Prepare and/or finalize technical drawings of proposed product to be used for production
Deliver design sketches / prototypes and provide specifications
Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization
Aide in organizational tasks and general day-to-day
Providing renderings and drawings
Knowledgeable about design and production practices
Organized, innovative, and creative
Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator software
Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills influence
Jewelry Background Preferred
Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfies the needs of the traditional and trendy jewelry customers
Maintains current knowledge of design trends
Collaborate with Merchandising, Production and Technical Design to achieve product execution and maintain design integrity
Provide design research, attend trade exhibitions, supervise product development process
Create design concepts and layouts, based on knowledge of layout and design principles, in collaboration with other members of the JMA R&D teamDesign new illustrations, 2D and 3D graphical elements, and animations based on input from JMA R&D subject specialists
Color-correct and edit images, graphics and video in consultation with subject matter experts
Serve as department expert on applying GIA branding to all learning assets
Adapts to additional duties and tasks Adapts to additional duties and tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 18,000.00 - 40,000.00 per month
